Hair Salon for Solo Travelers in Busan

Going to a hair salon alone in a new city is easy if you prepare three things: a clear message, photos and the address.

Prepare once, then it is easy

Prepare these items on your phone before you leave the hotel:

  • Two or three photos of the style you want.
  • A short note on your hair history.
  • The address and the Korean name 위닛 서면롯데점.
  • A screenshot of the price list, so you can point to it.

A booking message you can copy

Fill in the brackets and send it using the options on the how to book page.

“Hello. I would like a [service] on [date], around [time]. My hair is [length and type]. My last [color / perm / bleach] was [date]. I am traveling alone and will attach photos.”

Getting there on your own

Ride Busan Metro Line 1 or Line 2 to Seomyeon Station and follow signs to Exit 7. Walk toward Lotte Hotel Busan. The salon is about 5 minutes away, on the 3rd floor of Jeongsan Building. Keep the address ready in a map app. See the station walking guide for landmarks.

What happens in the chair

The designer looks at your hair and asks about your goal. You show the photos and say what you do not want. They explain the plan and the price, and you confirm before work starts. If something is unclear, ask them to point to the price list or show you with their hands.

Being alone, you can take your time. Nobody is waiting for you, and you can ask for small changes before you leave.

Small things that make it easier

  • Charge your phone, because you will use it for the map and the photos.
  • Bring a hair tie and a thin scarf in case the weather changes after your visit.
  • Save the price list as a screenshot so it is available offline.
  • Learn the Korean word for the service, such as 커트 for a cut.

None of this is required, but each item lowers the stress of a first solo visit.

After the visit

Take a photo of the finished look in daylight and keep it for your next booking. Ask the designer what to do at home for the first few days. Then reward yourself: the ground floor has La Ham Brunch café, and we do not publish its menu or hours, so check at the door.
