Scalp Treatment in Seomyeon, Busan

A scalp treatment cleans and cares for the skin under your hair, not the hair length. WENEED Seomyeon Lotte offers it; the designer checks your scalp and hair first and quotes the price.

What a scalp treatment usually includes

Scalp treatments differ from salon to salon, but most follow the same idea: loosen product buildup and oil, cleanse the scalp, massage it, then rinse and dry. Some add a soothing or balancing product afterward. The hair itself is a secondary concern.

Your designer explains the exact steps and products used at WENEED Seomyeon Lotte before starting. If you have a preference, such as a light touch or no strong scent, say so at the start.

Signs your scalp may benefit

People usually ask for scalp care for everyday reasons:

  • Roots look oily again within a day of washing.
  • The scalp feels tight or dry, or you see small white flakes.
  • You use a lot of wax, spray or dry shampoo and the scalp feels coated.
  • Your scalp feels tired after a long flight, heavy sweating or a humid Busan summer.
  • You want a clean start before a perm or color.

A scalp treatment is a grooming service. It is not a medical treatment, and it will not diagnose a skin problem.

When to see a doctor first

Scalp care at a salon is not the right answer to every scalp problem. See a doctor or dermatologist before booking if you have:

  • Red, painful, weeping or crusted patches.
  • Persistent, strong itching that does not settle.
  • A known scalp condition that you are being treated for.
  • Sudden or patchy hair shedding.

If you are being treated for a skin condition, tell the designer what you are using so they can decide whether a treatment is suitable.

Scalp treatment, head spa, scalp scaling: the differences

The names overlap, so here is how we use them on this site:

  • Scalp treatment: a general cleansing and care service for the scalp, this page.
  • Head spa: a longer, relaxation-focused scalp service. WENEED offers it as a cut-based option; see the head spa page.
  • Scalp scaling: a deeper exfoliating step aimed at stubborn buildup. See scalp scaling.
  • Hair clinic: care for the hair length, such as dryness or damage. See hair clinic treatment.

If you are not sure which fits, describe how your scalp feels and let the designer choose.

What to tell the designer

  • Whether your scalp is oily, dry, flaky, itchy or sensitive, and since when.
  • Any allergy to hair products or fragrance.
  • Any perm, color or bleach in the last few weeks, because a scalp that has just had chemicals may be more sensitive.
  • Any cuts, sunburn or irritation on the scalp.

Come with your hair worn the way you normally wear it. You do not need to wash it in a special way beforehand.

Combine it with other services

Many guests pair scalp care with a women’s haircut or a perm or color visit. Ask the designer about the order. Scalp care before a chemical service is sometimes useful, but if the scalp is sensitive the designer may suggest leaving a gap. WENEED Seomyeon Lotte is on the 3rd floor of Jeongsan Building, 412 m from Seomyeon Station Exit 7, and open daily 10:00 – 20:00.

FAQ

Questions guests ask

Do you offer scalp treatment at WENEED Seomyeon Lotte?

Yes. It is not on our printed price menu, so the designer quotes after checking your scalp and hair.

Is a scalp treatment the same as a head spa?

They are related but not identical. A head spa is usually a longer, relaxation-focused service, while a scalp treatment focuses on cleansing and care. Ask your designer which fits you.

Can it treat dandruff or hair loss?

A salon scalp treatment is grooming, not medical care. For persistent flaking, itching or hair shedding, see a doctor or dermatologist.

Is it safe right after a perm or color?

Your scalp may be more sensitive right after chemical services. Tell the designer the dates and they will advise on timing.

Is there a scalp treatment salon near Lotte Hotel Busan?

Yes. WENEED Seomyeon Lotte offers scalp treatment. The route from Exit 7 passes toward Lotte Hotel Busan. See the price list for menu prices.

Can I get scalp treatment at WENEED Seomyeon Lotte if I am coming from Busan Metro Lines 1 and 2?

Both Line 1 and Line 2 stop at Seomyeon Station. Ask about scalp treatment when you book, and bring photos of the result you want.
