Matching matters. Dark Asian hair often has a slightly different tone at the ends than at the roots, and bleached or permed hair has a different texture. Living with extensions
General care applies to most types. Detangle gently from the ends upward and avoid brushing hard at the attachment points. Be careful with heat tools near the joins and avoid products that soften adhesive or bonds, such as heavy oils, unless the designer says they are fine. Sleeping with hair loosely braided reduces tangling. Your own hair keeps growing, so extensions drift away from the scalp over time and need to be adjusted or removed. Do not leave them in for longer than the designer advises.
Removal and what comes next
